	The Italian Nursery School Giuseppina Saragat is an activity of Christian inspiration of the London Scalabrini Centre -Catholic Institution of the Scalabrinian Fathers of London- The school is run by the Dorotee Sisters of Cemmo and managed by Sister Franca Maffezzoni and three other teachers. The school was founded in 1969

with the objective in mind of educating children of Italian immigrants and integrate them in the English society yet conserving their Italian culture and heritage. Today the face and image of the nursery school is greatly changed together with English modern society where the nursery’s Italian culture melts with that of the rest of the world being the school open to all cultures, nationalities and religions.


	However, still today the Italian Nursery School encourages and teaches the Italian language together with English being well aware of the multiculturality characterising its children.

	The Italian Nursery School is recognised by the OFSTED: the British authority in charge of checking on schools performance and education standards. The professionality that characterises

the teaching personnel is fundamental garantee for children and parents alike.
